1. About JobArranged
JobArranged provides software that helps trade and service businesses respond to customer enquiries, collect job information, check business rules and availability, and arrange suitable appointments.
JobArranged is operated under the JobArranged brand. For privacy and data-protection matters, you can contact us at hello@jobarranged.com
2. Who this policy applies to
This Privacy Policy applies to people who visit the JobArranged website, businesses that create or use a JobArranged account, and customers who interact with Shailie or another JobArranged-powered enquiry experience.

4. How we use information
We may use personal information to:
- Provide and operate the JobArranged service.
- Respond to customer enquiries.
- Understand the type of work being requested.
- Apply configured service-area and business rules.
- Apply defined safety escalation rules.
- Check genuine business availability.

- Protect the service against misuse, fraud and security threats.

5. Legal bases
Where UK data protection law or similar legislation applies, the legal basis used will depend on the circumstances.
This may include processing that is necessary to provide a service or take steps requested before entering into a contract, processing based on legitimate interests in operating and securing the JobArranged service, processing required to comply with legal obligations, and consent where consent is the appropriate legal basis.
6. Trade businesses using JobArranged
When a customer uses Shailie on behalf of a trade or service business, that business may determine why customer information is collected and how it is used for the underlying service relationship.
JobArranged processes information as necessary to provide the software and booking workflow to that business. The relevant trade business remains responsible for its own use of customer information and its own legal and regulatory obligations.
7. AI processing
JobArranged uses artificial intelligence technology to help understand customer enquiries and generate conversational responses.
AI is not relied upon alone for every part of the service. JobArranged also uses configured rules and deterministic controls for areas such as safety handling, service-area decisions, permissions and real-world booking actions.
8. Service providers
JobArranged uses specialist service providers to operate the platform. These may include providers for artificial intelligence, database hosting, website and application hosting, email delivery, calendar connectivity, monitoring and payment processing.
These providers may process information only as necessary to provide their services to JobArranged, subject to their applicable contractual, privacy and security obligations.
9. Google Calendar
Where a business connects Google Calendar, JobArranged may access the calendar information required to check availability and create or manage appointments.
Calendar information is used only for the relevant JobArranged functionality and authorised business workflow.
10. Payments
When paid subscriptions are enabled, payments may be processed by a specialist payment provider acting as the payment processor or Merchant of Record.
JobArranged does not need to store full payment-card details when those details are collected and processed directly by the payment provider.
11. International data processing
JobArranged and some of its technology providers may operate or process information in countries outside the United Kingdom.
Where required by applicable data protection law, appropriate safeguards will be used for international transfers of personal information.
12. Data retention
Personal information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including providing the service, maintaining booking and business records, resolving disputes, preventing abuse and meeting applicable legal obligations.
Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and the reason it is being processed.
13. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure.
No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security, but we continuously aim to operate JobArranged using appropriate security controls.
14. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may have rights relating to your personal information. These may include the right to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection to certain processing.
You may also have the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
To make a privacy request, email hello@jobarranged.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests.
15. Complaints
If you have concerns about how your personal information has been handled, please contact us first at hello@jobarranged.com.
Where applicable, you may also have the right to complain to the data protection authority responsible for your jurisdiction.
16. Children
JobArranged is designed for business and trade-service enquiries and is not intended as a service directed at children.
17. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as JobArranged develops or where legal, regulatory or operational requirements change.
The latest version will be published on this page with its updated date.
